      If your DriSteem Humidifier isn't heating, it could be due to several reasons. First, check the main line safety switch and fuses, and ensure the unit is receiving the correct supply voltage. Another possible cause is an incorrect or nonexistent control voltage. In this case, try resetting the control transformer circuit breaker and verify that there's 24 VAC control circuit voltage at T-1 and T-2 on the control board. Also, make sure the humidistat is calling for humidity and that it isn't faulty. Finally, check the safety controls, air flow switch, and high humidistat.

Verify that the proper voltage is being applied to the heaters and check the heater amp draw, comparing it to the wiring diagram ratings. Another potential cause is a malfunctioning control system. If this is the case, replace the heater contactor if it's not functioning. Also, check auxiliary limit controls (humidistat, air flow proving switch, etc.) and reset, replace, or calibrate them as needed.

Inspect the drain valve to ensure it's closed and that the fill valve is installed correctly, noting the arrow for proper water flow. Finally, the humidifier may be in periodic drain and flush, so check the controller display.
