Maintenance schedule(continued)
Lubrication instructions:
Being chainless with an integrated rear hub motor, the Droyd Blipper is practically maintenance-free. However,
upon pre-ride/frame inspection if you notice any stiffness on the spokes, you can obtain any grease lubrication
a) Use a finger to apply a dab of lubricant on each point where the wheel spoke is attached to the inner rim.
(that's designed specifically for use on bikes) and apply as follows:
b) Ensure that the lubricant is rubbed in, so that each point is fully coated and the lubricant is on the inner rim as well.
It is recommended to conduct the above lubrication maintenance twice a year.
Frame inspection procedure:
In addition to the pre-ride checklist (page 19), ensure that you inspect each part of the frame on a regular basis
(recommended every week) and ensure it's functional and in good condition, as follows:
a) Check that all wheel spokes have the same level of tension.
b) Check that all nuts and bolts are fully tightened.
c) Check that the handlebar is fully adjusted and secured.
d) Check that there are no cracks, warps, or any other damage on the frame.
e) Check that there are no foreign objects (including dirt, leaves, twigs, etc) in any part of the frame.
Maintenance & servicing:
Any required maintenance, servicing, and/or disassembly of the drive system or any other components not included in
the list of purchasable replaceable parts (page 32) MUST BE CONDUCTED by an authorized service center, or local
bike service professional.
Please contact customer support for more information. (Droyd is not responsible for any damage, defect, failures, or
performance issues - nor any injuries, damage, death, or legal disputes - that may result from improper service from
