Auspacken und Aufstellen
Bitte beachten Sie auch die Hinweise der Packan-
leitung und, wenn Ihr Dual 621 Teil einer HiFi.
Komplettaniage ist, auch die entsprechenden Emp-
fehlungen des Herstellers.
Stellen Sie bitte nach Öffnen des Kartons
den Styroporeinsatz mit dem kompletten
Zubehör zunächst zur Seite. Nehmen Sie die
Konsole mit eingesetztem Plattenspieler aus
dem Karton und stellen Sie das Gerät an den
hierfür vorgesehenen Platz. Hinweiszettel am
Gerät bitte erst lesen und danach mit den
Verpackungsfolien entfernen. Wir empfehlen,
für einen eventuellen späteren Transport die
Originalverpackung aufzubewahren
Zum Lösen der Transportsicherungsschrau
ben (Fig. 2 c) drehen Sie diese im Uhrzeiger-
sinn, bis sie ca. 15 mm tiefer rutschen und
ziehen Sie diese — durch Weiterdrehen im
Uhrzeigersinn — fest. Damit ist der Platten
spieler für die Spielstellung federnd gelagert
(Fig. 2 b).
Nun setzen Sie den Plattenteller unmittelbar
auf die Motorachse.
Nehmen Sie bitte das Tonarm-Balancegewicht
aus dem Styroporeinsatz und stecken Sie den
Dorn des Balancegewichtes, nach Lósen der
Feststellschraube (12), in die dafür vorge-
sehene Offnung am hinteren Ende des Ton-
armes. Die dreikantförmige Aussparung am
Dorn muß dabei nach unten zeigen (Fig. 3)
Das Ausbalancieren sowie das jetzt erforder
lich werdende Einstellen von Auflagekraft
und Antiskating ist ausführlich beschrieben
auf den Seiten 18, 20 und 22
Die Höhe der Auflagekraft für das in das Ge-
rät bereits eingesetzte Tonabnehmersystem
entnehmen Sie bitte dem separaten Daten:
blatt.
Nehmen Sie jetzt den Anschluß an den Wie-
dergabe-Verstärker vor und verbinden Sie
das Netzkabel mit der Steckdose. Beachten
Sie bitte hierzu die separaten Hinweise in
dieser Anleitung
Nachträglicher Transport
Der Plattenteller liegt ohne zusätzliche Si
cherung auf der Motorachse des elektroni-
schen Zentralantriebs und ist unbedingt vor
jedem Transport abzunehmen. Darüber hinaus

d'emballage et, si votre Dual 621 fait partie d'un
ensemble intégré, aux recommandations du pro:
ducteur.
Aprés avoir ouvert le carton, placez tout
d'abord la garniture de styropor avec le pla-
teau et tous les accessoires sur le côté. Sortez
du carton, le socle avec sa platine et disposez
l'appareil à l'emplacement prévu. Lisez la
fiche d'indications de l'appareil et retirez-la
avec les feuilles d'emballage.
Nous recommandons de garder l'emballage
original pour pouvoir l'utiliser éventuelle-
ment lors d'un transport ultérieur
Pour desserrer les vis de sécurité (Fig. 2 c),
utilisées pour le transport, tournez-les dans le
sens des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à ce qu'
elles descendent d'environ 15 mm et continuez
à visser dans le même sens jusqu'au blocage
complet (Fig. 2 b)
La platine de lecture est ainsi suspendue
élastiquement et prête à fonctionner
Placer alors le plateau directement sur le
rotor. Retirer le contrepoids du bras de
l'emballage de styropor, et introduisez la tige
du contre-poids, aprés avoir desserré la vis de
blocage (12), dans l'ouverture prévue à cet
effet à l'extrémité arrière du bras de lecture.
L'encoche triangulaire de la tige doit alors
être tournée vers le bas (Fig. 3)
L'équilibrage, ainsi que le réglage nécessaire
de la force d'appui et de l'antiskating, sont
décrits en détail pages 18, 20 gt 22
La valeur de la force d'appui pour la cellule
d'origine montée sur l'appareil est indiquée
dans les caractéristiques techniques sur la
feuille annexée
Effectuez maintenant le raccordement à
Vamplificateur et au secteur. Veuillez pour
cela vous reporter aux paragraphes corres-
pondants de cette notice
Transport ultérieur
Le plateau est placé sans autre sécurité sur
le rotor de l'entraînement électronique cen.
tral et doit impérativement être retiré avant
chaque transport. De plus, les vis de sécurité
doivent être tournées en sens inverse des

sole follow the instructions of the latter's manufac
turer
Take out the styrofoam-protected platter
assembly and put it aside for the time being.
Remove the base with the turntable and
place it where it will be used. Read carefully
the special instructions sheet attached to the
turntable before removing it and the packing
material from the turntable.
Loosen the transit safety screws (Fig. 2 c) by
turning them clockwise until they slide
downward (about 15 mm), releasing the
chassis from the base, then continue turning
them clockwise to tighten the screws into
the top of the chassis (Fig. 2 b)
The turntable is now in spring-supported po-
sition required for play position
Next place platter directly on the motor
Take the tonearm counterbalance out of its
styrofoam insert. Loosen the setscrew (12)
at the rear of the tonearm, and insert the
shaft of the counterbalance in the opening
provided for this purpose. The triangular-
shaped notch of the shaft must point in
downward direction (Fig. 3)
Pages 18, 20 and 22 explain how to balance
the tonearm and then apply stylus pressure
and anti-skating
The separate Technical Data sheet advises
you on setting tracking pressure for the
cartridge already inserted in the unit
Now connect the phono cables to the ampli-
fier and connect the line cord either to the
convenience outlet on the back of the am
plifier or directly to the house current
Please read the separate instructions given
for this phase of installation.
Later Transport
Important: the platter simply rests on the
rotor of the electronic direct drive and must
be removed prior to any transport. In addi-
tion, the chassis must be secured to the base
