Der Tonarmlift ist der Start-Automatik über-
geordnet. Bei Tonarmlift in Stellung Y und
automatischem Start, durch Drehen der Steu-
ertaste auf “start”, schwenkt der Tonarm in
die Aufsetzposition. Zum gewünschten Zeit-
punkt kann das Absenken durch Antippen
des Steuerhebels erfolgen.
Tonhöhenabstimmung
(pitch control)
Jede der zwei Normdrehzahlen 33 1/3 und
45 U/min kann mit der Tonhöhenabstim-
mung um ca. 6 % (1/2 Ton) verändert wer-
den. Tonlage und Tempi der Wiedergabe
lassen sich damit individuell regeln. Die Ein-
stellung erfolgt mit dem Drehknop “pitch”
Die eingestellte Drehzahl ist mit der beige-
fügten Stroboskopscheibe kontrollierbar. Da-
zu legen Sie die Stroboskopscheibe auf den
rotierenden Plattenteller. Wird sie aus dem
Wechselstrom-Lichtnetz beleuchtet, so scheint
die kreisringförmige Strichteilung der ge-
wünschten Tourenzahl — trotz Rotation der
Scheibe — still zu stehen, wenn die Drehzahl
des Plattentellers mit der Soll-Drehzahl über-
einstimmt.
Eichen der Tonhöhenabstimmung
Vor der erstmaligen Inbetriebnahme oder
nach einem Transport des Gerätes wird
empfohlen, die Einstellung der Tonhöhenab-
stimmung zu überprüfen.
Die Tonhöhenabstimmung ist richtig gesicht.
wenn bei exakt eingestellter Plattenteller-
Drehzahl 33 1/3 U/min (Strichmarkierung
der aufgelegten Stroboskopscheibe bleibt
stehen) sich die Markierung am Drehknopf
(2) innerhalb des Nullbereiches der Skala
befindet (Fig. 19).
Eine Nacheichung kann erforderlichenfalls
wie folgt vorgenommen werden:
1. Drehzahl 33 1/3 U/min am Gerät einstel-
len und Tonhöhenabstimm-Drehknopf (2)
in die Mitte des Nullbereiches drehen.
2. Mit passendem Schraubendreher Regu-
lierschraube (1) drehen, bis die Strich-
teilung der Stroboskopscheibe stehen bleibt.

Pitch control
Each of the two standard speeds (33 1/3
and 45 rpm) can be varied about 6 % (about
a semitone) with the pitch control. This
permits adjusting the pitch and tempo of
recorded music. Pitch is varied by using the
pitch control knob (2).
The speed can be checked with the strobos-
copic disc on the turntable platter. When
the disc is illuminated by a light powered
from alternating household current, the ring
of lines corresponding to the choosen speed
will appear to stand still when the turntable
is rotating at the correct speed,
Calibration of Pitch Control
In setting up your player for the first time
or after it has been shipped, the pitch con-
trol should be adjusted.
Pitch control is correctly calibrated when
with the platter speed set to exactly 33 1/3
rpm (lines on stroboscope disc appear to
stand still) the marking on knob (2) is
within the zero range of the scala (Fig. 19).
Recalibration can if necessary be carried
out as follows:
1. Set the speed control at 33 1/3 and the
pitch control knob (2) to the middle of the
zero area.
2. Using a normal screw driver turn adjust-
ment screw (1) until the stroboscope disc
markings remain stationary. If the markings
