Why is my Duke Cold Pan cabinet getting too warm?
    • S
      Suzanne BakerAug 7, 2025
If the Duke Cold Pan cabinet is getting too warm, there are several possible causes. First, ensure the unit is plugged in. The thermostat might be set too warm; adjust it to a higher number for a colder temperature. A stuck thermostat switch may also be the culprit, requiring replacement. Check the doors to ensure they are sealing properly, and replace any torn or damaged door gaskets. The evaporator or condenser fan motor might not be running, in which case you should check and repair or replace the motor. A dirty condenser coil or filter can also cause this issue, so clean them. Finally, a refrigerant leak could be the cause; find the leak, repair it, and recharge the system.

What to do if there is water in the bottom of my Duke SUB-CP-TC60 Cold Pan unit?

If you find water in the bottom of your Duke Cold Pan unit, it's likely due to a plugged drain hose. Clear the drain hose to resolve this. Alternatively, the drain hose might be loose or disconnected from the drain pan; in this case, tighten or reconnect the drain hose.
