This document is a user manual for the DUKWIN DK01 series watch winders. It provides instructions for operation, technical specifications, and contact information for support.

Function Description:

The DUKWIN DK01 series watch winders are designed to keep automatic watches wound when not being worn. They feature various winding programs and controls to accommodate different watch types and user preferences. The winders come in different models, ranging from single-watch winders to multi-watch winders, with varying power options and control interfaces.

Important Technical Specifications:

Power:

• DK018SK - DK048SK models:
  • Power adapter: AC/DC 3.0V, 1.2A output.
  • Battery option: Can also run on two "D" cell batteries (not included).
• DK068SK, DK098SK, DK128SK models:
  • Power adapter: AC/DC 5.0V, 2A output.
• Optional Plugs: US/UK/AU/EU adapters are available.
• Power Supply Units:
  • 3V AC Adapter: Model AP12-050200UP, I/P: AC 100-240V 50-60Hz 0.2A, O/P: DC 3V, 1.2A.
  • 5V AC Adapter: Model AP12-050200UP, I/P: AC 100-240V 50-60Hz 0.28A, O/P: DC 5V, 2A.

Watch Cuff:

• Fits max 53mm watch dial.
• Accommodates watch thickness up to 20mm.
• Bracelet/wrist size limited from 35mm – 62mm.
• Features detachable parts for shorter watch straps.

Winding Programs (TPD - Turns Per Day):

For Manual Control Watch Winders (DK018SK, DK028SK, DK038SK, DK048SK):

• Mode 1: Rotate 2 minutes clockwise, rest for 6 minutes, cycle repeat.
• Mode 2: Rotate 2 minutes counter-clockwise, rest for 6 minutes, cycle repeat.
• Mode 3: Rotate 2 minutes clockwise, rest for 6 minutes, rotate 2 minutes counter-clockwise, rest for 6 minutes, cycle repeat.
• Mode 4: Rotate 5 minutes clockwise, rotate 5 minutes counter-clockwise, repeat above for 3 hours, rest for 9 hours, cycle repeat.

For LCD Remote Control Watch Winders (DK068SK, DK098SK, DK128SK):

• Default working modes: 24 Hours, working for a total of 12 hours and resting for a total of 12 hours.
• TPD Settings:
  • 650 TPD: 10 cycles, 60 seconds working time for 10 cycles, 467 seconds stop time, 527 seconds cycle period.
  • 750 TPD: 10 cycles, 60 seconds working time for 10 cycles, 395 seconds stop time, 455 seconds cycle period.
  • 850 TPD: 10 cycles, 60 seconds working time for 10 cycles, 345 seconds stop time, 405 seconds cycle period.
  • 1000 TPD: 10 cycles, 60 seconds working time for 10 cycles, 250 seconds stop time, 310 seconds cycle period.
  • 1950 TPD: 10 cycles, 60 seconds working time for 10 cycles, 175 seconds stop time, 235 seconds cycle period.

Usage Features:

Controls:

• Pause Switch: When turned on, opening the lid immediately stops all drums from rotating. When turned off, opening the lid allows drums to continue rotating.
• LED Light Control: Each watch box has an embedded LED light strip for convenient viewing of the watch status.
• Power Switch: Controls the main power to the device.
• Manual Control TPD Selection Knob (DK018SK, DK028SK, DK038SK, DK048SK): Allows users to select one of four winding modes (Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3, Mode 4) or turn the device off.
• LCD Remote Control (DK068SK, DK098SK, DK128SK):
  • Power Switch: Turns the device on/off.
  • LED Light Control: Activates/deactivates the internal LED lighting.
  • TPD Selection: Allows selection of TPD values (650, 750, 850, 1000, 1950).
  • New Watch Mode Key: Likely a quick setting for a newly placed watch.
  • Bi-directional: Controls the direction of rotation.
  • Run & Stop: Starts or stops the winding process.
  • Watch Selection (Left/Right): For multi-watch winders, allows selection of individual watch drums.
  • Remote Control Range: Up to 5 meters.

Watch Cuff Usage:

1. Remove the cuff from the winder drum by pulling on the two tabs.
2. Close the strap or bracelet of your watch.
3. Compress the cuff and slide your watch over it, with the watch dial facing outward.
4. If the watch strap is too short, push out the detachable parts at the bottom of the cuff, then follow the steps to put the watch inside.
5. Push the cuff into the drum until it locks into place (an audible click will be heard).

LCD Backlit Feature:

• The LCD backlight activates when the power switch is on, the lid is open, or a program has been manipulated.
• To save power, the backlight automatically turns off after approximately 10 seconds of no input.

Maintenance Features:

General Notes:

• Never use unauthorized or non-specification power adapters.
• Do not remove or insert a watch during operation.
• Do not move the turntables by hand at any time.
• Ensure the A/C connection is disconnected if the watch winder will not be used for an extended period.
• Keep the watch winder away from any magnetic objects.
• The manual emphasizes that there is no "magic number" of rotations for winding a watch, as various factors (user activity, watch complications, wear frequency, service history) influence winding requirements. Users are advised to manually wind a stopped timepiece first and then experiment with different settings to determine the optimal winding program.
