      If your DUROMAX Portable Generator will not start, there are several potential causes. Ensure the engine switch is in the ON position. Stale gasoline or water contamination can also prevent starting; drain the system and refill with fresh fuel. Check if the generator is out of fuel and add fuel if needed. Old or contaminated fuel should be replaced. A dirty spark plug should be cleaned, or a broken spark plug should be replaced. Ensure the generator is on a level surface. Finally, check the oil level and add or change oil as necessary.
