Function Description:
The Sienna 5-Drawer Chest is a piece of furniture designed for storage in living rooms, bedrooms, or dining areas. It features five drawers, providing ample space for organizing various items. The chest is supported by four legs and includes pre-attached handles on the drawers, which need to be re-attached correctly during assembly. An anti-tipping kit is provided and strongly recommended for installation to secure the furniture to the wall, preventing serious or fatal crushing injuries from tipping.

Usage Features:
- Storage: Five drawers offer significant storage capacity.
- Stability: Designed to be used on firm, level ground with all legs in contact with the surface.
- Safety (Anti-Tipping Kit): The included anti-tipping kit is crucial for securing the chest to the wall, especially in households with children. This helps prevent the furniture from tipping over.
- Weight Distribution: Heaviest items should be placed in the lowest drawers to enhance stability.
- Child Safety: Children should always be supervised when near the product. They should not be allowed to climb on the drawers. Only one drawer should be opened at a time to maintain stability.
- Weight Limit: Do not place TVs or other heavy objects on top of the product.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning:
- Only use a damp cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid bleach or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the finish.
- Do not scrub or rub the surface vigorously.
- Do not use a very wet cloth or allow liquids to contact the veneer for extended periods. Wipe any spillages immediately to prevent warping or de-lamination of finishes.
- Moving: Lift the bedside chest off the floor when moving it; do not drag it.
- Heat and Sunlight Exposure: It is not recommended to place the item near heat sources (radiators, fires) or in direct sunlight. Such exposure can cause the wood to crack, split, or fade due to changes in humidity and temperature.
- Wood Mellowing: Wood will naturally mellow and change color over time. Regularly moving ornaments and items placed on the surface is recommended to prevent uneven mellowing.
- Fixings Check: Regularly check all fixings to ensure they have not come loose. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Sharp Objects: Avoid using sharp items like screwdrivers or other pointy tools on the surface to prevent damage.
- Placemats/Coasters: Use placemats or coasters when placing hot items (e.g., hot drinks, dishes) on the wood surface to protect it.
Assembly Tips:
- Lay out all parts on a clean, soft, and level surface before starting to prevent damage to the unit or floor.
- Identify all parts and fittings and familiarise yourself with them before assembly.
- Assemble the 5-drawer chest in the room where it will be located to prevent damage during movement.
- Keep children and animals away from the assembly area due to small components that could pose a choking hazard. Keep all plastic and wrapping materials away from children and animals to prevent suffocation.
