Maintenance and adjustment of the mechanism
The mechanism G is available via the cover as illustrated. Access to the impulse sender fro
return of the splitter piston is in the opening to the right.
The impulse for activation of the splitter blow comes via the small hydraulic cylinder in A.
Impulse for return of stop of the splitter piston comes via bar H and the stoppers E. This impulse
is transferred to the valve arm B which moves the valve slide mechanically to 3 positions: Tour,
return and neutral
The stop signal and the return signal for the splitter piston are produced by contact with the
spring loaded discs E. This point of contact may be adjusted by placing the screw D in the
groove F.
It is important that the mechanism is kept free from pollution and the gliding surfaces C are
lubricated at regular intervals to reduce the wear.
NB! There are movable parts in the mechanism which involve great power and risk of
crushing.
The machine should never be operated when the covers are removed.
