OPERATION
:
- ON/OFF:
1. Turn the [VOL/OFF] knob clockwise to switch on the transceiver; you will hear a
beep prompt. When the LCD displays frequency or channel, the transceiver is on.
2. Turn the [VOL/OFF] anti-clockwise to switch off the transceiver, the transceiver is
OFF when hear “click” from the switch.
- Volume control:
When the transceiver is turned on, turn [VOL] knob clockwise will increase the volume,
turn [VOL] anti-clockwise will reduce the volume. The LCD displays the volume level (1-36
levels).
Note:
- Adjust the volume during communication to get suitable level.
- RF power control:
When the transceiver is in transmitting mode; turn [PWR] knob to adjust power. Turn it
clockwise to increase power, anti-clockwise to reduce power.
- RF gain control:
When the transceiver is receiving; turn [RFG] knob to adjust RF gain. Turn it clockwise to
increase gain, anti-clockwise to reduce gain.
- Squelch control:
When the transceiver is in standby mode; turn [SQ] knob clockwise to adjust squelch level.
The LCD displays the squelch level (1-36 levels).
- SSB clarifier control:
When the transceiver is transmitting or receiving, turn [CLAR] knob to adjust USB/LSB TX
or RX frequency. Turn it clockwise to increase frequency and anti-clockwise to reduce
frequency.
- Channel selection:
When the transceiver work in channel mode; turn [CH] knob to select desired channel.
Rotate clockwise to increase; anti-clockwise to reduce channel.
Note:
- In channel display mode, each press [PUSH] knob will increase the frequency by
10 times of channel step size.
