The Dyness A48100 is a lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system designed to provide energy storage for photovoltaic power generation users. It can be combined in series or parallel to form larger capacity battery packs, meeting long-term power supply needs. This product is particularly suited for energy storage applications that require high operating temperatures, limited installation space, extended power backup time, and a long service life.
The A48100 system stores excess electricity from photovoltaic power generation systems during the daytime. This stored energy can then be supplied to user equipment as power backup at night or whenever needed. This functionality improves the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation and enhances electric power efficiency through peak load shifting. The system is equipped with a Battery Management System (BMS) that effectively manages the battery cells, providing protection functions such as over-discharge, over-charge, over-current, and abnormal temperature. It also features self-management for charging and discharging, and a single-core balancing function.
The A48100 utilizes lithium iron phosphate as its positive electrode material, ensuring safety and a longer lifespan. It is designed to be non-toxic and non-polluting, complying with European ROHS and certified by SGS. The intelligent design incorporates an integrated inspection module, and its flexible configurations allow for parallel connection of multiple batteries to achieve longer standby times. The system operates with self-ventilation, resulting in lower system noise. It exhibits a low self-discharge rate, allowing for a recharging period of up to 10 months during storage. The A48100 has no memory effect, enabling shallow charging and discharging. It is designed to operate within a wide temperature range of -20℃ to +55℃, maintaining circulation span and discharging performance even at high temperatures. The unit is also characterized by its compact volume and lighter weight.
For installation, the A48100 requires proper grounding to ensure safety. It is crucial to ensure that parameters among relevant devices are compatible and matched. The system should not be mixed with batteries from different manufacturers, types, models, or new and old batteries. The ambient and storage conditions significantly impact the product's lifespan, so adherence to the operation environment instructions is essential for proper device function.
The system includes various protection mechanisms. During charging, if the charge current exceeds 90A, a current limit protection mode is activated, limiting the current to 1A. This protection is removed after a 10-second delay once the current is below 90A. In discharging, if the current exceeds 100A, the battery buzzer alarms, and the system stops discharging after 15 seconds. Discharging will resume after a 60-second delay or immediately if a charging current is detected. The buzzer alarm can be manually turned off via background software. Temperature protection is also integrated: if the battery's temperature goes beyond the range of -5°C to +55°C during charging or -20°C to +55°C during discharging, the system will stop charging or supplying power, respectively, until the temperature returns to the rated working range. Short-circuit protection is activated for 60 seconds if a short circuit occurs when the battery is activated from a shutdown state. The device also features self-shutdown; if no external loads, power supply, or external communication are detected for over 72 hours, the device will automatically enter a dormant standby state.
For long-term storage, the battery should be recharged once every 6 months, ensuring the electric charge exceeds 80% of its rated capacity. If the battery is fully discharged or enters over-discharging protection mode, it should be charged within 18 hours. The theoretical standby time can be calculated using the formula T=C/I, where T is standby time, C is battery capacity, and I is the total current of all loads.
In case of any abnormal phenomena, such as the device's outer case bulging, customers are advised to contact the supplier. Maintenance should only be performed by authorized technical personnel or the company's technical support. Any device breakdown due to unauthorized operation will not be covered under warranty. When installing the battery system, protective items such as isolation gloves, safety goggles, and safety shoes must be worn. The installation site should be away from the sea to avoid brine and high humidity, and the ground for product arrangement must be flat and level. There should be no flammable explosive materials near the installation site. The optimal ambient temperature for installation is 15°C to 30°C, and the area should be kept away from dust and messy zones.
After installation, it is recommended to register the product on the DYNESS official website to activate the product warranty. The manual provides a detailed troubleshooting guide for common faults, including issues like the indicator not responding, no DC output, short DC power supply time, inability to fully charge, power cable sparks, and communication faults. For each fault, a reason analysis and corresponding solution are provided, such as checking total voltage, reading battery information on the monitor, replacing or adding modules, adjusting charging voltage, or checking for short circuits and communication settings. Technical assistance and questions should be directed to the dealer.
