Chassis, Satellite assembly, DDM assembly replacement - dismantle
88 The manifold seal is ‘spot’glued
into the chassis and can be
removed by pulling out of the
chassis firmly.*
To replace the DDM assembly it is necessary to strip the product down as far as the chassis. This
section therefore details how to replace a chassis on any model and ultimately how to replace the
DDM assembly.
Please note: an AC product was used for the purpose of illustrating this section. The DDM assembly is
only shown on the necessary sequences.
Before continuing the following parts should be removed as previosly shown:
Cable rewind assembly (pages 9-16)
Switch & AC motor removal (pages 24-32).
* Not necessary if replacing the DDM only.
89 Remove the cyclone release
catch by prising out the hinge
points using a thin, flat bladed
screwdriver.*
