G13115NS and G13116NS control panels do not have the EMERG/NORMAL switch installed and may
be used at any crew position except the Pilot and Co-pilot. If the Co-pilot position will never be used to fly
the aircraft a G13115NS/G13116NS panel may be used.
7. Control Panels
7.1. Description
The Audio System may be configured to use any of a number of different control panel types, each
specifically configured for a customer’s needs. This manual provides a brief description of the most
common types and default operation. Deviations from the standard operation will be detailed in the
customer documentation.
7.2. Control Panel Types
The following are the most common Control Panel types (See Figure 4):
G13115 Control Panel. Usually set up to provide 16 Transmit/Receive Audio Channel selectors,
ICS, VOX and Master Volume control. Also has 4 programmable buttons for extra functions, an
ICS/Transmit PTT toggle switch and an Emergency Isolation Mode switch.
G13116 Control Panel. Usually set up to provide 8 Transmit/Receive Audio Channel selectors,
ICS, VOX and Master Volume control. Also has 4 programmable buttons for extra functions, an
ICS/Transmit PTT toggle switch and an Emergency Isolation Mode switch.
