Overview

The Eaglemaster LT-6200 is a comprehensive vehicle security system designed for automobiles, trucks, vans, and SUVs, offering a wide array of features to protect your vehicle and enhance convenience. This system is equipped with two 2-button remote transmitters that utilize a hi-tech hopping code system, making it highly secure and difficult to copy. Up to four transmitters can be learned into the alarm system for ease of operation.

Function Description:

The core function of the LT-6200 is to provide robust security against theft and tampering. When armed, the system activates a starter kill feature, preventing the engine from starting and deterring thieves. A high-power multi-tone siren is integrated to ward off attackers, while parking lights flash to signal that the alarm has been triggered. An LED indicator provides visual confirmation of the system's status and signals intruders.

The system incorporates a plug-in dual-stage shock sensor that detects attempts to tamper with your car, triggering the alarm. Door triggers are also monitored, activating the alarm if doors are opened while the system is armed. For enhanced security, a trunk trigger is included, which also activates the alarm if the trunk is opened when armed.

Beyond security, the LT-6200 offers several convenience features. An auto-lock system remotely locks or unlocks car doors with power door locks. The system can automatically close windows when the alarm is armed, provided the vehicle is equipped with the necessary functionality. Remote panic mode allows you to manually trigger the alarm to ward off attackers, and a remote trunk release feature enables you to open the trunk remotely.

The system also includes a 4-channel receiver, keyless entry outputs with dual polarity, vehicle locator, and panic functions. It provides a horn honk output, starter disable, and a protected valet override for temporary deactivation of certain security features.

Optional features further expand the system's capabilities, including remote start, trunk release, active or passive arming, 2-pulse unlock output, remote anti-carjacking activation, LED system status indicator, parking light flasher (R/L indicator), built-in door lock relays, PIN code protection, windows roll-up, 2nd starter disable, and an anti-carjack switch.

Usage Features:

Operating the LT-6200 is straightforward using the remote transmitters.

  • Arming the System: A single press of button ① will arm the system, causing the siren/horn to chirp once, lights to flash once, and the LED to flash slowly. Doors will lock, the starter will be killed, and windows will close. The alarm will trigger if the car is hit or intruded. To arm silently, hold button ① for over 2 seconds; lights will flash once without a chirp.
  • Disarming the System: Pressing button ② will disarm the system, resulting in two siren chirps, two light flashes, and the LED turning off. Doors will unlock, and the starter will be released. To disarm silently, hold button ② for over 2 seconds; lights will flash twice without a chirp.
  • Panic Mode: Pressing both buttons ① and ② simultaneously activates panic mode, causing the siren to burst and lights to flash for 29 seconds until any button is pressed to turn it off.
  • Remote Trunk Release: Hold both buttons ① and ② for over 2 seconds to open the trunk remotely. During arming, this function will not trigger the alarm, and the shock sensor will be temporarily shut off, but the IGN and doors will remain armed. After 5 seconds, the trunk and sensor trigger will return to arm status.
  • Auto Re-Arming: The alarm will re-arm 30 seconds after disarming unless the doors have been opened or the engine is ignited. This feature helps prevent accidental disarming.
  • Alarm Abnormal Arming Indication: If the siren chirps four times and lights flash four times during arming, it indicates that a door, engine hood, or trunk is not properly shut. The system will bypass that zone but will still protect other areas, and the LED will show the abnormal condition.
  • Passive Arming: This feature can be activated by setting sub-function item No.2 or No.3 to "ON." After turning off the ignition and closing the door, the LED will quick flash. The alarm will arm automatically after 30 seconds. If any door, trunk, or hood is open during this 30-second period, passive arming will stop.
  • Alarm Trigger: When armed, if the ignition is turned on, a door is opened, etc., the alarm will trigger.
    • 1st stage sensor trigger: Siren/horn gives one long chirp.
    • 2nd stage sensor trigger: Siren/horn gives 20 seconds of sound and lights flash for 20 seconds. This has a limit of 6 triggers.
    • IGN, door, hood, or trunk trigger: Siren/horn gives 29 seconds of sound and lights flash for 29 seconds. After a 2-second pause, the system checks if the condition has recovered; if not, it triggers again.
  • Remote Sensor by Pass: Within 10 seconds after arming, pressing button ① once will chirp twice, bypassing the 1st stage sensor. Pressing button ① twice will chirp three times, shutting off all sensors.
  • Car Finder: Pressing button ① once will cause the siren to chirp once and lights to flash for 30 seconds, helping you locate your car in a crowded parking area. Holding button ① for 2 seconds will flash lights for 30 seconds without a chirp. This feature operates 10 seconds after entering the arm position.
  • Valet Mode: To enter valet mode, turn the ignition on, then hold the valet switch for over 5 seconds within 10 seconds. The LED will turn on. In this mode, remote lock and unlock remain effective, but other functions are temporarily shut off. To exit, turn the ignition on, then hold the valet switch for over 5 seconds within 10 seconds; the LED will turn off.
  • Alarm Trigger Memory: After disarming, the siren/horn will sound and lights will flash four times if the alarm was triggered previously. The LED mode indicates the type of trigger:
    • Quick flash 2 times: Sensor 1st stage trigger
    • Quick flash 3 times: Sensor 2nd stage trigger
    • Quick flash 4 times: Door trigger
    • Quick flash 5 times: Engine hood or trunk trigger
    • Quick flash 6 times: IGN trigger
  • Smart Engine Disable (Anti-car jack/immobilizer): Set sub-function Item No.1 to "ON." After turning off the ignition for 30 seconds, or opening and closing a door within 30 seconds after turning off the ignition, engine disable activates, and the LED flashes twice per second. To disarm, turn the ignition on, press the valet switch for 5 seconds within 10 seconds to enter valet mode, or simply press button ② once. The LED will turn off, and the system returns to normal status.
  • Safety Door Lock/Unlock: With sub-function No.5 set to "ON," all doors will auto-lock 10 seconds after the last door is closed and the ignition is turned on. All doors will auto-unlock when the ignition is turned off.
  • Anti-car Jack: This feature protects your vehicle from hi-jacking. It can be activated in three ways:
    • Remote Anti-Car Jack: While ignition is ON, press buttons ① and ② once. Parking lights flash three times, and the LED flashes quickly. To exit within 60 seconds, press button ② once, or press the valet switch once with ACC on. After 60 seconds, you must use your PIN code to disarm.
    • Active Anti-Car Jack: Requires an optional anti-car jack switch (factory switch in the vehicle that switches positive voltage). When this switch is turned ON while a door is open, the system enters anti-car jack mode. To exit within 60 seconds, turn the switch OFF with ACC on, or press the valet switch once. After 60 seconds, you must use your PIN code to disarm.
    • Passive Anti-Car Jack: If sub-function Item No.8 is "OFF," the system automatically enters anti-car jack mode when any door is opened with the ignition on. To exit within 60 seconds, press the valet switch once with ACC on. After 60 seconds, you must use your PIN code to disarm.
  • PIN Code Usage: If in anti-car jack mode after 60 seconds or if the system is triggering, you can manually disarm by entering your PIN code (factory default: 1.2.3.4).
    1. Turn ignition "OFF then ON"; the LED will go OFF.
    2. Press and hold the valet switch; the LED will flash according to the PIN code number.
    3. To set each digit, press and hold the valet switch until the LED flashes the desired number of times, then release.
    4. After the 4-digit PIN code is programmed, the system will disarm.
  • Setting Your Own PIN Code: You can choose any 1-4 digit code (not zero).
    1. Turn ignition ON then OFF within 10 seconds.
    2. Press and hold the valet switch for 5 seconds until the siren chirps twice and lights turn ON.
    3. In program mode, press and hold the valet switch; the LED will flash according to the number of the 1st PIN code digit. Release the switch.
    4. Repeat for the remaining digits.
    5. After programming, the siren will chirp the new PIN codes, and the system will return to normal status.

Maintenance Features:

The Eaglemaster LT-6200 is designed with several features to ensure long-term reliability and ease of maintenance.

  • Power Disconnecting Memory: The main unit has built-in memory. If the alarm power is cut and reconnected, the system will recall its previous state (disarm, arm, or valet mode, anti-carjacking mode).
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty: The system comes with a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring support and coverage for the product's lifespan.
  • Battery Replacement: The remote transmitters use a 12V GP23A battery. A warning is provided to change the battery when the remote range becomes short, indicating a low battery level.
  • Professional Installation: The manual emphasizes that the security system must be installed by a qualified technician to ensure proper operation. Attempting to install or modify the system yourself may void the warranty, highlighting the importance of professional service for optimal performance and to maintain warranty validity.
  • Sub-Function Setting: The system allows for customization of various sub-functions. In the disarmed position, turn off the ignition, then within 10 seconds, press the valet switch 5 times. The siren/horn will chirp 4 times, and lights will turn ON, indicating entry into programmable mode. The number of valet switch presses corresponds to the function item number. The LED flashes indicate the item number. To select ON or OFF for a function, press button ① for ON (two chirps) or button ② for OFF (four chirps). The system exits this mode if the ignition is turned ON or if there is no activity for 10 seconds. This allows for tailored security settings to meet individual preferences.
