Cleaning and storage
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING!
■ Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaners for cleaning. These can damage the
surface.
• Dust off the housing (4) if needed or wipe off with a damp cloth. Then wipe dry with
a dry cloth.
• Remove any residual water left in the water tray (6) and the water tank (10) if the
device is not going to be used for a while or before storing it:
– Hold the device over a washbasin, kitchen sink or similar.
– Remove the silicone stopper (7) on the bottom of the device. The water will run out
of the device.
– Move the device around as needed so that all water can fl ow out.
• Keep the device protected from dust and in a clean, dry area out of reach of children
and animals during periods of non-use.
Maintenance
The device must be kept in working condition. Change the lamella insert (5) and the
activated carbon fi lter (13) regularly (every 6 months) or as needed.

Change lamella insert
1. Squeeze the locking catch on the cold air cover (8) and pull it towards yourself.
2. Remove the cold air cover.
3. Raise the lamella insert (5) in the device slightly and pull it out of the device over the
edge of the water tray (6).
4. Insert a new lamella insert into the device. While doing so, make sure that no blades
protrude over the edge of the water tray.
5. Insert the cold air cover into the housing (4) and press it down tightly. While doing
so, make sure that the locking catch is sitting in the correct notch. The cold air cover
should click audibly as it closes.
Change activated carbon fi lter
1. Squeeze the locking catch on the fi lter cover (11) and pull it towards yourself.
2. Remove the fi lter cover.
3. Pull the activated carbon fi lter (13) out of the holder.
4. Insert a new activated carbon fi lter into the holder and press down. The edge of the
activated carbon fi lter should close off the edge of the holder.
5. Insert the fi lter cover into the housing (4) and press it upwards tightly. While doing
so, make sure that the locking catch is sitting in the correct notch. The fi lter cover
should click audibly as it closes.
