Operation
Stationary PTO Operation
To engage a PTO for stationary operation:
1. Ensure the vehicle is at a complete stop.
2. Select Neutral (N) mode using the transmission driver interface
device.
3. Set the vehicle parking brake.
4. Switch the PTO switch to On.
Note: PTO is engaged when the PTO indicator lamp is illuminated and/or a
display message is indicated.
5. Raise engine RPM level as required to operate PTO.
To disengage the PTO:
1. Ensure the vehicle is at a complete stop.
2. Depress and hold the vehicle service brake.
3. Switch the PTO switch to Off.
Mobile PTO Operation
To engage a PTO for mobile operation:
1. Ensure the vehicle is at a complete stop.
2. Select Neutral (N) mode using the transmission driver interface
device.
3. Depress and hold the vehicle service brake.
4. Switch the PTO switch to On.
Note: PTO is engaged when the PTO indicator lamp is illuminated and/or a
display message is indicated.
5. Select a forward or reverse mode as required for vehicle movement.
To disengage the PTO:
1. Ensure the vehicle is at a complete stop.
2. Depress and hold the vehicle service brake.
3. Switch the PTO switch to Off.
