Test of Relays
The “Test Trip” fault can be invoked by two different means.
•
BCM Test/Reset button
•
Fieldbus Control word
ModBus register = 600
Overload Fieldbus Control Word
The Overload control profile accepts the following control com-
mands from a control network.

TEST TRIP RESET
Possible control commands
• 0x01 – TEST TRIP will cause the OVERLOAD relay (Q1) to
open. The C445 will issue a "Test Trip" fault and the FAULT
relay (Q3) will close.
• 0x08 – RESET FAULT will clear any faults provided the fault
condition has cleared.
