This opens the network configuration page.
IP address configuration
Click the “IP Address” text box.
This opens it for edit. Type in the chosen IP address for
the controller.
Netmask configuration
Click the “Netmask” text box.
This opens it for edit. Type in the chosen netmask for
the controller.
Gateway configuration
Click the “Gateway” text box.
This opens it for edit. Type in the chosen Gateway for
the controller.
Soap port configuration
The “Soap Port” is used for Web page data updates. A port
must be opened on the intended network for Web page
data access. The default port is 8080 but can be edited.
Click the “Soap Port” text box.
This opens it for edit. Type in the chosen soap port for
the controller.
UER settings
The Universal Ethernet Router (UER) is a built-in protocol
used for communications between PRC-E Series controllers
over the Ethernet network. The “System ID” is the port
used for communication with a range of 1 to 65535 and the
“Security Mask” is the encryption mask to setup separate
logical networks on a single Ethernet, range 1 to 65535. All
the controllers required to communicate on the same logical
network must have the same “System ID” and “Security
Mask” setting.
To enable the UER, click the “Enable UER” checkbox to add
a checkmark.
Click the “System ID” textbox.
This opens it for edit. Type in the non-zero System ID
number. Zero in this field disables UER functionality.
Optionally, click the “Security Mask” textbox.
This opens it for edit. Type in the Security Mask number.
Once the network configuration edits are complete, click
the “Save Changes” button to save the changes.
