Group configuration
Groups are the logical associations of controllable circuit
breakers with a single point of control. They are used to
create and control zones of controllable circuit breakers.
There are 16 default groups preconfigured in the PRC-E
Series controller designated by letters A through P. Groups
can have controllable circuit breakers associated and can be
controlled by time schedules or controller inputs.
Click the “Groups” tab.
This opens the “Groups” configuration Web page.
In the “Groups” screen, the parameters for each group
configuration can be accessed and edited. The group
names, descriptions, circuit breaker associations, input
associations, schedules and breaker names can be updated
on this screen. Additionally, manual control of the groups
can also be accomplished from this page.
Status of all groups
The 16 group names have a colored background that show
the current status of each group using a color code.
An ON” group status is the group name with a red
background.
An OFF” group status is the group name with a green
background.
Editing the group name and description
Double-click the description of the chosen group to edit.
This will open the point edit screen for that group.
Editing the group name
To edit the Name of the group, click the “Name” textbox.
This opens the texbox for edit. Type in the 4-character name.
Editing the group description
A description is optional, but if entered it helps to identify
the function of a group.
Click the “Description” textbox.
This opens the texbox for edit. Type in the 20-character
description.
ote:N Do not change the association of the group by
clicking a letter.
Click OK” to accept the changes.
