This opens the dropdown list for a quick pick of some
common points.
Scroll down the list and choose the point required.
If the required point is not listed, it can be entered using the
keyboard.
To edit the “Point” value manually, click the “Point” textbox.
This opens the box for editing.
Input the required alpha numeric value for the feedback
point address using the keyboard.
For example, if the point is set to “1:12B”, the circuit breaker
in position 12 of the first panel will be commanded ON
when the universal input has a dry-contact closure.
Enabling and disabling the motion sensor input
The motion sensor inputs can be enabled and disabled
using the MOT_EN1 and MOT_EN2 internal switch point
from the “Buttons” configuration tab. These points can be
turned ON to enable and turned OFF to disable each motion
sensor input. This feature can be used for setting up a
occupancy sensing with an override OFF scheme.
Setting up motion enable “MOT_EN_” point
Click the “Buttons” tab.
This displays the button programming page for the DSN.
Click the “Digital Point” dropdown arrow of the button to be
programmed.
This opens the dropdown list for a quick pick of the internal
motion sensor input enabling.
This setup is identical for sensor 1 and 2 except the enable
point “MOT_EN1” or “MOT_EN2” must be selected.
Scroll and click to choose the “MOT_EN#” point that is
being required.
The digital point controlled by the switch button is now the
digital point that was specified in the motion sensor “Point”
input box under the “Sensors” tab.
Setting the motion sensor enabled or disabled
The action of MOT_EN# digital point is now to enable
the motion sensor input when it is ON and to disable it
when OFF.
To set the action to enable the motion sensor input,
click the Action” dropdown arrow next to the button
to be programmed.
This opens the dropdown list for a quick pick of the
actions available.
Click to select the ON action.
This button will now enable the motion sensor input to
control the digital point ON and OFF in the host controller.
