Why won't my Echo Portable Generator start?

  If your Echo Portable Generator engine won't start, first, ensure the engine switch is in the 'Choke' position. Next, check the fuel tank and fill it if empty, being careful not to overfill. Also, make sure no appliances are connected during startup; if they are, turn them off and unplug them. Inspect the spark plug cap to ensure it's securely in place, and clean the spark plug electrode if contaminated. Finally, verify the engine oil level and add oil if it's low, following the instructions.

  If your Echo Portable Generator has no output, first check the AC receptacle for loose connections and ensure the circuit breaker is in the ON position. Also, if you attempted to start the generator with appliances already connected, turn off the appliance switch, disconnect the cable from the receptacle, and reconnect after the generator starts properly.
