      Nancy Rios MDJul 27, 2025
If your Echo Trimmer engine cranks but doesn't start, the issue might be a clogged fuel strainer or fuel line (clean or replace), fuel mixture that is too rich (open choke, clean or replace air filter, or adjust carburetor), the stop switch being off (turn the switch to ON), an electrical problem or interlock switch issue, or incorrect spark plug gap, carbon buildup, fuel fouling or a defective plug (adjust the gap to .65mm (0.026 in.), clean or replace the plug, or replace the plug).
