Why does my Echo PE-200 engine crank but not start?

If your Echo Edger's engine cranks but struggles to start or doesn't start at all, several factors could be at play. It could be due to a lack of fuel reaching the carburetor, in which case you should clean or replace it. Alternatively, the fuel mixture might be too rich; try opening the choke, cleaning or replacing the air filter, adjusting the carburetor, or consulting your Echo dealer. Another possibility is a lack of spark; ensure the switch is in the ON position and consult your Echo dealer. Also, inspect the spark plug, adjusting it to .65mm (0.026 in.), cleaning or replacing it as necessary.
