How to fix Echo SRM-225i Trimmer that cranks but won't start?
    • D
      Danielle SimmonsJul 30, 2025
If your Echo Trimmer cranks but doesn't start, or starts hard, it could be due to a lack of fuel at the carburetor, which would require cleaning or replacement. Alternatively, the fuel strainer or fuel line could be clogged, or there could be an issue with the carburetor itself. Clean or replace the fuel strainer and fuel line. For carburetor issues, consult your Echo dealer.
