ASSEMBLY
Tools Required: (2) 11mm (7/16in.) Wrenches
1. Support powerhead assembly upright on tines. Place top handle
assembly to rear.
2. Loosley assemble lower handles using 6.35 x 76mm (1/4in. x 3in.)
hex head shoulder bolt (A), lockwasher (B), and locknut (C) in
front handle end mounting hole as shown.
3. Slide open end of lower handle assembly, front to rear, beneath
powerhead and throttle linkage/ignition wires.
4. Place handle tubes into gearcase handle mounting grooves and
assemble using 6.35 x 82.5mm (1/4in. x 3-1/4in) hex head shoulder
bolt (D), lockwasher (B), and locknut (C) in rear handle mounting
holes. DO NOT TIGHTEN BOLTS.
5. Slide carry handle onto lower handle tubes.
6. Place top handle assembly between lower handles, align mounting
holes and install (2) 10 x 30mm carriage bolts (E), (2) lockwashers
(F), and (2) nuts (G). Carriage bolts should be installed from the
outside through the lower handle then upper handle tube.
7. Securely tighten lower handle bolts first, then the upper handle
bolts.
8. Secure throttle linkage and stop switch lead midway on right lower
handle with cable tie.
