Dispose of the instrument safely, as electronic waste, except as follows:
– the main electronic board (LONOX) is fitted with a Lithium battery,
which must be separately disposed of.
– The cooler ((15) in Fig. 3.1) must be sent to a specialist firm capable of
recycling the cooling agent it contains.
– the circuit boards, the photomultiplier and other non-electronic parts
may be separated according to materials of construction and disposed
of appropriately (ferrous and non-ferrous metals, etc.)
