5.2.2 Description of the display windows of the CLD 780 TR
5.2.2.1 (1)* “MEAS“-window
Measure window (activated with MEAS key)
* The numbers in brackets in the following section refer to the software
window numbers in the diagram “CLD 780 TR window structure“ at the
end of section 5.2, Figs. 5.1 to 5.4.
– The concentrations of NO and NO.c measured in the sample gas in
ppb are displayed below the appropriate labels. When a measured
value exceeds the full scale of the measuring range, stars are dis-
played instead of figures.
– The selected measuring range (in ppb) is always displayed under
“Range“ or “Rng“ (see window (24)).
– The selected integration time (in sec.) is displayed under “Int” (see
window (24)).
– The upper right hand corner displays the analyzer’s current opera-
tional status:
– “PWUP“: “Power-Up“ phase, set-point operating temperatures not
yet reached.
– “O3UP“: Ozone generator start-up phase, ozone concentration
(and therefore measured values) not yet constant.
– “MEAS“: In measure mode, normal operational mode.
– “DOWN“: After any serious problems measuring will be inter-
rupted. The instrument automatically goes into “Stand-by“ mode.
– If the analyzer is connected to a PC and is being operated in Remote
mode a “R“ is displayed to the left of the above status displays.
– Error and warning codes are displayed in the lower right corner. They
appear immediately a problem occurs, irrespective of the currently se-
lected window.

Measure window (activated by pushing MEAS key)
– If “NO (cont)“ or “NO.c (cont)“ is selected in window (3), then the
normal measurement window “MEAS“ changes to the continuous
mode window “CONT“. The measured concentrations of “NO (cont)“
