CLD 780 TR / July 2000 39
5.2.2.2 (2) “MAIN“-window
Main menu (activated by pushing MENU key; following which “MAIN“
will appear in the upper right hand corner of the display. This status indi-
cator remains for all further windows selected under the menu).
The following sub-menus can be activated:
1. “Mode“ (3)
2. “Recorder (4)
3. “Cont. Meas“ (5)
4. “Date/Time“ (14)
5. “Comm.“ (15)
6. “Timers“ (16)
7. “Param.“ (17)
Selecting a window from the main menu:
Initially the cursor is positioned under the first letter of the first option,
“Mode“. This option can be chosen by simply pressing the “YES“ key.
Otherwise move the cursor on by pressing the “NO“ key - the cursor
jumps to the first letter of the next option, “Recorder“. Again the “YES“ or
“NO“ key can be used to select or reject this option.
Exit the “MAIN“-window by pressing the “MEAS“ key (back to “MEAS“-
window.)
(3) “MODE“-window
Allows the selection of the components to be measured
One of the following 6 measurement modes can be selected: “NO“,
“NO.c“, “NO and NO.c“, “NO and NO
2
“, “NO continuous“ and “NO.c
continuous“. Depending on the analyzer configuration, some or all of
these selections are applicable. For example, when using a CLD 780 TR
alone, only NO measurements are possible - in this case the applicable se-
lections in the “MODE“ window are “NO“ and “NO (cont)“. If a PLC
762 photolytic converter is used together with the CLD 780 TR then two
more modes are applicable - “NO.c“ and “NO.c (cont)“. The alternate
measurement of NO and NO.c with a PLC 762 and a single CLD 780 TR
is also possible (although not recommended by ECO PHYSICS) and the
analyzer software does allow this sequential measurement to be made, in
which case two more modes are applicable - “NO and NO.c“ and “NO
and NO
2
“. Please note, however, that the standard version of the PLC
762 does not support alternate NO and NO.c measurement.
