(46) “Calibration done“-window
Display of WK
“PLC 762 Calibration done Efficiency = “: Display of the measured
conversion efficiency (WK). (To convert to WK in % multiply the displayed
value by 100.) Press “MEAS“ to store the new value in the analyzer
memory. WK serves as a correction factor for the internal determination
of NO
2
from the NO.c and NO values, and is relevant when the “NO and
NO
2
“ measuring mode is chosen.
With “MEAS“ or “YES“:The new value for WK is validated and stored by
the analyzer which then returns to the measuring mode. Window (1) ap-
pears.
With “NO“: The new value for WK is rejected and the old value remains
valid. The initial window of the PLC 762 calibration procedure appears
(window (42)).
Caution: With the “MEAS“ key the procedure can be aborted any
time. Through the “Exit“-window (49) by using the NO key the start of
the calibration procedure can be reached (window (42)).
Caution: If WK is below 25 % check that:
– the PLC 762 calibration was performed correctly (check cal. gases
supply and calibrator)
– the life expectancy of the xenon lamp in the PLC has not been ex-
ceeded.
