Why is my Ecoair DC14 not collecting water?
    • C
      Christina HarveyAug 13, 2025
Several factors can cause this. If newly installed, allow at least 24 hours to achieve desired dryness. The set humidity level may have been reached, so readjust the humidity settings. The room might be too cold or dry for the current settings; readjust the humidity or increase the room temperature. A dusty filter can also hinder water collection, so clean or replace it. If the room is too hot, ventilate by opening a window or door. Conversely, if the room is too cold, increase the heat.

    • S
      salazaranthonyAug 17, 2025
Check the water tank for damage by removing it, filling it with water, and placing it on a hard, even surface to check for leaks. Also, inspect the continuous drainage hose for clogs or looseness and ensure the room is within the operating temperatures.

    • C
      Christopher EscobarAug 20, 2025
The area you are trying to dehumidify might be too large for the dehumidifier's capacity. Consider whether a more powerful unit is needed.

What to do if my Ecoair DC14 Dehumidifier has no power?
    • O
      Omar OnealAug 25, 2025
First, ensure the dehumidifier is properly plugged into a working mains socket and switched on. Check the main power supply. If the dehumidifier has reached its pre-set level or the tank is full, it will automatically turn off. Try setting a lower humidity level or emptying and correctly replacing the tank. Also, make sure the water tank is correctly seated. If you've just turned it back on after a power failure, there's a protective time delay of 3 minutes to protect the compressor before normal dehumidifying starts.

What to do if the water full light is on in my Ecoair Dehumidifier?
    • M
      Matthew KleinAug 28, 2025
The water full light indicates that the water tank is either full or not installed correctly. Empty the water tank and reinstall it properly. Another possible reason is that the water float is out of position; restore it to its correct location. Lastly, ensure the dehumidifier is on a flat, even surface, using a spirit level to check, and that the water tank is correctly fitted.

Why is my Ecoair Dehumidifier so noisy?
    • T
      Tamara LynnSep 1, 2025
The noise could be due to the water tank or filter being incorrectly fitted, or the dehumidifier being placed on an uneven surface. Check and refit the water tank or filter, and ensure the dehumidifier is on a level surface. Also, the sound created when wind passes through the dehumidifier is normal.
