Attach the mounting brackets to the switch chassis.
Use screws and cage nuts to secure the switch in the rack.
Ensure rack is properly grounded per ETSI ETS 300 253.
Attach lug and grounding wire to switch and rack ground.
Ensure earth connection is not removed and device is in restricted-access location.
Plug AC power cord into switch and connect to AC power source.
Connect 36-60 VDC power to the switch's DC terminal block.
Verify basic operation by checking Power and Diag LEDs.
Connect PC to switch console port using the console cable.
Set PC serial port to 115200 bps, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit.
Log in to the CLI using default username 'admin' and password 'admin.'
