Your EdgeWater 175CC / 155CC is equipped with panel breakers, one
switch is for the navigation lights lights, one activates the bilge pump
manually, one is for the optional livewell, one is for the optional raw
water pump and one is left free for the owner to use for accessories.
In addition, there is a 12 volt cigarette lighter plug which may be used
for a variety of purposes. A wiring diagram is included with this manual
to assist you in troubleshooting the boats electrical system. Please
note that the accessory circuits are each protected by a 20 amp breaker.

5.3 Dual Batteries
On either model, dual batteries are an option. The second battery may be used as a back up power
supply or the second battery may be used to power a trolling motor. When equipped as a back up power
supply, the boat will have a battery selector switch which provides isolation for each battery and also
provides the ability to have a back-up in case of a dead or weak battery. When in port and running
accessories such as entertainment equipment or pumps, the selector switch should be set on 1 or
2. When leaving the boat unattended, the selector switch should be in the OFF position. If the
battery is intended to be used as a trolling motor battery, there will be separate circuitry.
Current is supplied to the automatic float switch and the bilge pump even when the battery selector
switch is in the OFF position.
Avoid running the selector in the “both” position, as the weak battery will drain the charged
battery, leaving you with two weak batteries. Instead, start the engine using the charged
battery. Once the engine is running, turn the battery switch to the “both” position to charge
both batteries.
