These functions are identical to the same-named functions on the Drogue channel… we won’t
repeat the long and boring description of them here.
AUX Main Mode:
Quasar_1a2b3c 1.02a
AUX Altitude
500 v
AUX DMode: Igniter v
AUX Pulse: 1 sec v
Submit
The Main mode screen for the AUX channel is nearly identical to the Main channel, however
there are not Failsafe settings; you really wouldn’t want to have two Failsafe’s on the same
flight. Otherwise the settings are identical to the Main channel so we’re not repeating them.
Airstart Mode
Quasar_a1b2c3 1.02a
Airstart Timer: 0.3 v
AUX Min Alt: OFF v
AUX Min Vel: OFF v
AUX Vel Chk: @Timer v
AUX Pulse Width: 1 sec v
Submit
These settings control the AUX channel in Airstart mode. This is a description of the settings,
we’re not going to go into a discussion of how you might want to use them in an actual airstart…
for that, we recommend that you download the Eggtimer Quantum Airstart Guide, which can be
found on the Eggtimer Rocketry web site under the Eggtimer Quantum Support page. The
airstart settings for the Quasar are nearly identical to the Quantum, so this guide applies to both.
