Why won't my EGO Lawn Mower move when I press the accelerator pedal?
    • A
      Angela BoydNov 23, 2025
If your EGO Lawn Mower doesn't move when you press the accelerator, several factors could be at play. First, ensure that the combined amp-hours (Ah) of your batteries meet the mower's requirements by using enough EGO batteries as per the manual's instructions. Also, make sure the parking brake is fully released. Both left and right paddles need to be briefly pulled toward you until the mower status indicator shines green. Confirm that you are correctly seated. Check the accelerator pedal's path for any obstructions and remove any debris. In cold weather, warm up the mower and battery before restarting. If the seat switch isn't connected correctly, remove the battery and disassemble the seat to check the cable plug connection. If problems persist, it could indicate a failure of mechanical o...

Why won't the blades start on my EGO POWER Z6ZTR when I activate the PTO switch?
    • E
      Elizabeth RangelAug 26, 2025
If your EGO Lawn Mower blades won't start when you activate the PTO switch, and the PTO switch icon is blinking, there are a few potential causes. First, ensure that the combined amp-hours (Ah) of the installed batteries meet the mower's requirements. Next, check if the PTO switch was left in the up position when the mower was last turned off; if so, push it down and then up to restart the blade motors. The mower may be overloaded; try starting in lower blade speed first. In cold weather, warm up the mower and battery before restarting. Also, if the mower is driving at 'TRAVEL' speed, the blades will automatically stop. If the blade interferes with the deformed mower deck, call EGO Customer Service Center.

Why does my EGO POWER Z6ZTR leave grass behind?
    • J
      Jessica VelezAug 27, 2025
If your EGO Lawn Mower leaves grass or debris on the ground after mowing, it could be because you're trying to cut too much grass at once, especially if the grass is tall. Start with a high cutting height and gradually lower it. For grass over 152 mm tall, mow twice at successively lower heights. Wet grass can also cause this issue, so avoid mowing when it's wet. Additionally, check your driving and blade speeds; a high driving speed or low blade speed can leave clippings behind. Slow down and increase the blade speed.

Why is my EGO POWER Z6ZTR Lawn Mower not mulching correctly?
    • C
      Caitlin TorresAug 27, 2025
If your EGO Lawn Mower isn't mulching properly, it could be because wet grass clippings are sticking to the underside of the deck. Wait until the grass dries before mowing. It could also be that the mower is trying to cut too much grass at once; raise the deck cutting height.

Why won't my EGO Lawn Mower charge and the status indicator is red?
    • Y
      yatkinsAug 28, 2025
If your EGO Lawn Mower isn't charging and the status indicator is solid red, make sure the charger plug is correctly inserted into the charging port. Check if there is power in the wall outlets. If these aren't the problem, the charger port on the mower is defective or there is a charger malfunction. Call EGO Customer Service Center.

Why is there no water coming from the wash port on my EGO POWER Z6ZTR?
    • R
      Ryan WilcoxSep 15, 2025
If no water comes from the wash port when you're trying to clean the deck of your EGO Lawn Mower, make sure the wash-port quick coupler is properly attached to the wash port until you hear a click. If it still doesn't work, contact EGO Customer Service Center.

    • A
      Angela MorrisonSep 12, 2025

    • S
      sheachristopherSep 14, 2025

Why is my EGO POWER Z6ZTR not driving straight?
    • M
      Meghan DixonSep 6, 2025
If your EGO Lawn Mower isn't tracking straight, it could be due to unequal tire pressure in the rear wheels. Check and adjust the air pressure in both rear tires. It could also be that the driving speed for the left and right rear wheels are different. Calibrate the steering wheel.

Why does my EGO POWER Z6ZTR Lawn Mower have a short run time?
    • S
      sarahgreerSep 3, 2025
The runtime of your EGO Lawn Mower can be affected by lawn terrain, grass conditions, cutting-height setting, driving speed, and blade speed. To extend the runtime, raise the deck cutting height and slow down the blade speed to reduce the cutting load.
