LUBRICATING THE BLADE
(Fig. 12)
For best operation and longer blade life,
lubricate the hedge trimmer blade with
anti-rusting oil after each use.
1. Remove the power cord away from the
hedge trimmer.
2. Lay the hedge trimmer on a at
surface. Spray the anti-rusting oil along
the edges of the blades. Run the hedge
trimmer for a while to distribute the oil evenly on the blade surface.
LUBRICATING THE DRIVE GEAR
(Fig. 13)
For best operation and longer lifetime,
lubricate the hedge trimmer drive gear
with a special grease after every 50
hours operation. Apply the grease into
#1 oil-hole up to 0.011lb (5g) while up to
0.022lb (10g) into #2 oil-hole each time.
DO NOT FULLY FILL THE GEAR CASE
WITH THE GREASE.
The grease should meet the following requirements:
 NLGI Grade Penetration: NLGI-2;
 Thickener Type: Polyurea;
 Recommended Operating Temperature Range: -40°F to 356°F (-40°C to 180°C);
 Other than above, the grease should also be shear stable with exceptional pressure
characteristics and excellent anti-wear property, and perfect oxidation stability.
