PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Excessive
vibration or
noise.

Dry or corroded blades.
◾
Lubricate the blades, following the
instructions in the "LUBRICATING THE
BLADE" section in this manual.

Blades or blade support is bent.
◾
Replace with a new blade or
blade support. Contact EGO
authorized dealer/distributor for
replacement service.
◾
Bend or damaged blade teeth.
◾
Replace with a new blade. Contact
EGO authorized dealer/distributor for
replacement service.
◾
Loose blade bolts.
◾
Use an appropriate hex wrench to turn
the blade bolts in clockwise direction to
tighten them.
◾
Insufcient drive gear
lubrication.
◾
Lubricate the drive gear, following the
instructions in the "LUBRICATING THE
DRIVE GEAR" section in this manual.
