EGO STA1600 - Troubleshooting; String trimmer fails to start

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
String trimmer
fails to start.
◾
The battery pack is not
attached to the power head.
◾
Attach the battery pack to the power
head.
◾
No electrical contact
between the power head
and the battery pack.
◾
Remove battery, check contacts and
reinstall the battery pack until it snaps
into place.
◾
The battery pack charge is
depleted.
◾
Charge the battery pack with EGO chargers
listed in power head manual.
◾
The lock-off lever and
trigger are not depressed
simultaneously.
◾
Follow the section “STARTING/
STOPPING THE POWER HEAD” in the
manual for PH1420/PH1420-FC/PH1400/
PH1400-FC.
