10. Faults
a) The equipment does not work
Check that the battery is charged and whether the charging unit is working.
b) An error code is displayed
Error code Possible cause Possible remedial measures
E1 - The rechargeable battery is subject to
excessive current.
- Equipment defect
- Change the rechargeable battery
- Have the equipment start up in idle
mode
E3 - The equipment cannot start up
because of, e.g. pressure load
- Equipment defect
- Check whether the equipment can
start up unhindered
- Change the rechargeable battery
- Have the equipment start up in idle
mode
E4 - The motor is overloaded
- Equipment defect
- Check whether the equipment can
start up unhindered
- Change the rechargeable battery
- Have the equipment start up in idle
mode
E5 - The equipment has been running for a
lengthy period of time and has become
hot.
- Allow the equipment to cool for about
30 minutes. It will only run again when
there has been a signifi cant decrease
in the temperature of the equipment
again:
E6 - The low-voltage protection has
switched off the rechargeable battery.
- Change the rechargeable battery
- Charge battery
E7 - Mechanical problem (gear unit) - Check whether the equipment can
start up unhindered
- Change the rechargeable battery
- Have the equipment start up in idle
mode
E8 - Mechanical problem (motor) - Check whether the equipment can
start up unhindered
- Change the rechargeable battery
- Have the equipment start up in idle
mode
E9 - The overvoltage protection has
switched off the rechargeable battery.
- Change the rechargeable battery
- Check the voltage of the rechargeable
battery (max. 21V)
If the equipment will not work in spite of the troubleshooting measures and the voltage supply being OK,
please contact customer service (see section 7.3).
