2) Parameters Setting
When [Parameters] button is clicked, the parameter setting dialog window is displayed as shown below.
(1) The PV Device Area (Area), Current
Temperature Coefficient (α), Voltage
Temperature Coefficient (β), Series Resistance
(Rs), Curve Correction Factor (K) are entered
with values from one PV module
(2) By entering the quantity of PV module in series
and parallel, they are calculated into the
parameter for overall PV array, and it used for
the IEC 60891 standard condition conversion.
(3) The Comments section is not directly related to
the measurement parameter; however, for data
identification purpose, the information entered in
this section is useful for organizing the data. It
is recommended to enter information every time
the measurement condition is changed. This
information is also saved in the data file.
(4) Then click the [Upload] button to upload the parameter setting setup in above steps from the PC
software to MP-11 Main Unit.
NOTES:
The parameter information uploaded by the [Load Parameter File] button on the Measure Tab
can also be uploaded and/or downloaded; however, the updated parameter information will
not be reflected unless the [Upload] button on Parameter Setting dialog window is clicked.
MP-11 Main Unit will take measurement according to the uploaded parameters setting;
however, the contents of the parameters setting which was uploaded from the PC software
cannot be verified on MP-11 Main Unit
In case the parameters setting did not get uploaded to MP-11 successfully even though the
parameters were setup by following the above steps, the Standard Test Condition calculation
will not be reflected to the measurement data.
Also when the MP-11 Main Unit power is turned OFF, the uploaded parameters will be erased.
The parameters setting uploaded from PC to MP-11 Main Unit cannot be saved on the MP-11
Main Unit memory.
To download the parameters setting which is saved in the MP-11 to the PC software, click [Download]
button. By using this button, the uploaded parameters setting can be downloaded back to PC software
and verify the contents.
