5) Save Parameter File
Once the parameter setting is
completed, click [Save Parameter File]
button; it is recommended to save with
appropriate setup contents on the name.
Click [Save] button after entering the file
name.
6) Load Parameter File
By selecting a file name same as the
one saved last time and clicking the
[Load Parameter File] button parameter
setting was saved in the past can be
recalled when next time the software is
started up.
Select a file name then click [Open]
button.
However, although the parameter
information uploaded from this process
would include the PV module/array parameter information, the PV module/array parameter information
will not be reflected to MP-11 Main Unit just by clicking the [Start] button. The parameter information
must be transferred to MP-11 Main Unit by clicking the [Upload] button from the Parameter Setting
dialog window.
Now all settings are complete and ready to take measurements.
Before going to the next step to take measurements, make sure the MP-11 is setup in the following
manner.
(1) Connect between the MP-11 Main Unit and PC with attached USB cable.
(2) Setup the parameters according to the procedures described in above section.
(3) Connect the PV probes to the MP-11 Main Unit and turn ON the Main Unit power then clamp the
PV module/array terminal blocks with alligator clips on the PV probes.
CAUTION: Make sure the polarities (+/-) of the PV probes are correct!
