The Sensor Unit data are not
reflected on the Main Unit.
The Sensor Unit may not be setup properly or there may be a communication
problem between the Main Unit and the Sensor Unit.
・ Check the pyranometer switch (INT/EXT, for internal or external pyranometer)
is set correctly. [5-3. Setting], [2. Sensor Unit Setup]
・ Check the time is properly synchronized between the Main Unit and the
Sensor Unit. [8-2. Starting MP-11]
・ In case of taking measurement without the Sensor Unit connected to the Main
Unit, the Sensor Unit data need to be loaded to the Main Unit after the
measurement. Check whether the Sensor Unit data is properly loaded to
the Main Unit. [8-4. Setting Menu], [4. System Menu], [3) Loading Sensor
Unit Data]
・ In case of taking measurement by software operation, it is required to check
the “Use Sensor Unit” checkbox and take measurements. Check to see if
the checkbox is checked. [9-3. Software Operations], [1. Measure Tab]
Power does not turn on
although the POWER button
on the Main Unit is pressed.
When Battery Receptacle Box is used, there are some cases that the power
does not come ON right away after the plug is connected with the Battery
Receptacle Box DC jack and pressing the Power button. In such case, wait for
a few seconds then press the Power button.
When the power is turned ON, more current is consumed than the usual
operation; it needs a few seconds to recharge the super capacitor before the
power can be turned ON. Waiting time may vary depending on the conditions
such as ambient temperature and the battery consumption; give 5 to 10
seconds after plugging the Battery Receptacle Box and powering ON the Main
Unit.
STC conversion value has
large error.
The guideline value of irradiance is 700(W/m
2
) or more for the IEC 60891
standard test condition conversion Pm (STC), Voc (STC), and Isc (STC) values.
Also, the accuracy is improved by entering all standard values, such as the PV
module parameters: α, β, K, Rs, and module area, for the PV module to be
measured, in the “Parameter” setting on the software.
Data is not loaded in an
assigned folder even after data
loading from the Main Unit to
PC has been performed.
