Function Description:
The P12HPW operates in four main modes:
- Cooling: Expels cold air through the front outlet and hot air through the vent pipe. The desired room temperature can be set between 16 and 32 degrees Celsius.
- Heating: Expels hot air through the front outlet and cold air through the vent pipe. The desired room temperature can be set between 16 and 32 degrees Celsius.
- Fan: Circulates air without cooling or heating. The fan speed can be adjusted.
- Dehumidifier (DRY): Removes moisture from the air. In this mode, the unit should be operated without the vent hose and set up for continuous drainage. It operates at a low fan speed and displays "dH" on the display.
The unit features a 3-speed fan (Low, Med, High) to balance quiet operation with performance. It also includes a 24-hour start/stop timer, a digital thermostat, and a remote control for convenient operation. For enhanced portability, the unit is equipped with castors.

- Drainage:
- Manual Drainage: When the internal water tank is full, the unit stops operating and displays "E4". Water can be drained manually by removing the rubber stopper from the lower drain plug.
- Continuous Drainage: A water pipe can be connected to the upper water outlet for continuous drainage, useful in heating mode or for unattended use.
- Self-Evaporative Function: In cooling mode, the unit reuses most of the water to cool condenser coils, evaporating any excess, reducing the need to empty the tank if vented correctly.
- Multi-Protective Functions:
- Frost Protection: Automatically stops operation if exhaust temperature is too low in COOL, DRY, or AUTO modes.
- Overflow Protection: Stops operation and sounds an alarm ("E4") when the internal water tank is full.

Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning the Surface: Clean with a wet soft cloth; avoid chemicals like benzene, alcohol, or gasoline.
- Air Filter Cleaning: Filters should be cleaned approximately every three weeks, or more frequently depending on air quality. This involves sliding out the filter screen frames and washing them in warm water with neutral detergent (around 40°C/104°F), then drying in the shade before reinstalling.
- End of Season Maintenance:
- Empty the internal water tank.
- Run the unit in low fan mode for half a day to dry the conduit and prevent mold.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Replace the rubber stopper.
- Coil and bind the power cord.
- Separate and safely store the air-exhaust pipe.
- Cover the unit and store it in a dry place.
- Remove batteries from the remote control.
Safety Instructions:
- For indoor use only.
- Connect to a 220-240 V / 50 Hz earthed outlet.
- Do not cover or restrict airflow.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 50cm from walls/objects for maximum performance.
- Do not use the cooling function when ambient temperature is higher than 38°C to protect the unit.
- Always store and transport the unit upright to prevent compressor damage. Wait at least 24 hours before starting if it has been moved.
- Avoid restarting within 3 minutes of turning off.
- Do not use the mains plug as a switch; use the ON/OFF button.
- Place on a dry, stable surface.
- Not for use in laundry or wet rooms.
- Place in a room without ignition sources (open flames, gas appliances, electric heaters).
- Ensure the refrigerant system is not perforated or punctured.
- Any repairs or maintenance (other than cleaning/filter replacement) must be performed by an authorized service representative.
