• Ensure good air ventilation in the located room to avoid
the backflow of unwanted gases into the room from
appliances burning gas or other fuels, including open
fires.
• Exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is
used for exhausting fumes from any appliances burning
gas or other fuels.
• The ventilation opening in the base (if applicable) must
not be covered by a carpet, mat, or any floor covering.
1.3 Electrical connection

• The appliance must be correctly earthed. The
manufacturer is not responsible for the consequences
of an inadequate earthing system.
• Make sure that the parameters on the rating plate are
compatible with the electrical ratings of the mains power
supply.
• Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket.
• Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables.
• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the appliance.
Always pull the mains plug.
• Do not touch the mains cable or the mains plug with
wet hands.
• If the mains power supply cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its Authorised Service
Centre or similarly qualified persons to avoid an
electrical hazard.
• UK and Ireland only. This appliance is fitted with a 13 A
mains plug. If it is necessary to change the mains plug
fuse, use only a 13 A ASTA (BS 1362) fuse.
