Ensure good air ventilation in the located room to avoid
the backflow of unwanted gases into the room from
appliances burning gas or other fuels, including open
fires.
Exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is
used for exhausting fumes from any appliances burning
gas or other fuels.
The ventilation opening in the base (if applicable) must
not be covered by a carpet, mat, or any floor covering.
1.3 Electrical connection
WARNING!
Risk of fire and electrical shock.
The appliance must be correctly earthed. The
manufacturer is not responsible for the consequences
of an inadequate earthing system.
Make sure that the parameters on the rating plate are
compatible with the electrical ratings of the mains power
supply.
Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket.
Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables.
Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the appliance.
Always pull the mains plug.
Do not touch the mains cable or the mains plug with
wet hands.
If the mains power supply cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its Authorised Service
Centre or similarly qualified persons to avoid an
electrical hazard.
UK and Ireland only. This appliance is fitted with a 13 A
mains plug. If it is necessary to change the mains plug
fuse, use only a 13 A ASTA (BS 1362) fuse.
