5.3 Welding with the spot welding pliers
Warning:
Electromagnetic fields!
Wear protective goggles and protective gloves!
The electrodes get hot!
Flying sparks!
− Turn on the machine at the mains switch (see operating manual
of the power pack)
− Connect the machine to the compressed air grid.
− Important: At the end of the welding operation, allow the coolant
pump to run for a few more minutes to prevent any build-up of
heat.

Ensure an adequate supply of compressed air, working pressure
min. 8 bar!
Working pressure is 8 bar! For the MTX 4900 pliers the value
should be 6 bar / 90 psi.
