Chapter 3 Using the TV
MTS Allows you to listen to high-delity stereo sound while watching TV
▪
Stereo:
Use separate audio tracks for left and right speakers, if available
▪ SAP:
You can enjoy a second audio program from the speakers while
watching a scene in the original program
▪ Mono:
Allows mono output (useful when stereo is noisy or inconsistent)
SPDIF Type Allows you to select the digital sound format: PCM/OFF/Dolby Digital
▪ PCM:
The external audio system is connected to the AUDIO OUT (L/R)
of the TV
▪ Dolby Digital:
The external audio system is connected to the AUDIO OUT
DIGITAL (OPTICAL or COAXIAL) of the TV
▪ OFF:
Select OFF to turn off the external audio system
Audio Language Allows you to select the audio language:English/Spanish/French.
Speaker ▪ On: Select to turn on the TV speakers.
▪ OFF: Select to turn off the TV speakers and listen to the TV’s
sound through the external audio receiver and speakers
