INSTALLING A RESTRICTOR
When Using a Horizontal (Wall) Termination
When vertical section is up to 39½”/1 m no restrictor required
When vertical section is 39½”/1 m to 9’10”/3 m 35 mm restrictor

When Using a Vertical (Roof) Termination
When rise is up to 6’6”/2 m 35 mm

As previously noted, restrictors must be tted in some congurations. Use the table below to determine which restrictor may be
needed with your venting conguration. The restrictors are shown in Figure 22.
The restrictor for all replace models installs at the very bottom of the outlet collar. Attach the appropriate restrictor to the
bottom of the outlet collar as shown in Figure 23 using the screws provided.
