MAINTENANCE
Your machine will always serve you faithfully, if it is cared for properly.
First unplug the machine according to the "Important Safety Instructions" on page "0".
5. Brush the blade, feed dogs and the area
around it. Clean any accumulation of
lint. etc. inside the machine.
6. Refit the needle plate, sewing foot, side
cover and screw cap.
7. Re-engage the moving blade (see page
11).
8. Oil the machine, as mentioned below
under "Lubrication".
Lubrication
When using your machine for the first
time,
or if you have not used it for some
time,
put a few drops of oil on the point
indicated.
Wipe off any oil remaining
around the sewing area.
