Why is the bar and chain running hot and smoking on my EMAK GS 371 Chainsaw?

  If the bar and chain on your EMAK chainsaw are running hot and smoking, the possible causes are: * The chain oil tank is empty: Ensure you fill the oil tank every time you fill the fuel tank. * The chain tension is too tight: Adjust the chain tension according to the instructions. * There is an oiler malfunction: Run the saw at full throttle for 15 to 30 seconds, then stop it and check if oil is dripping from the bar tip guard and guide bar. If there is no oil, contact a Servicing Dealer.
