What to do if my Emerson EV1000-4T0022G shows drive overload?
    • J
      Jimmy MorganAug 20, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter is showing a drive overload, there are several possible causes. It could be due to a too short Acc time, which means you should prolong the Acc time. Another reason may be too large DC braking energy, so you should reduce DC braking current and prolong braking time. Also, check for an improper V/F curve and adjust the V/F curve or torque boost value. If the drive is re-started with a rotating motor, start when the motor stops. Check the AC supply voltage if it is low. Finally, the load may be too heavy, so you may need to select a drive with larger power.

What to do if my Emerson Inverter shows motor overload?
    • T
      Thomas BrownAug 22, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter indicates a motor overload, consider these potential causes. An improper V/F curve may be the issue, so set the V/F curve and torque boost value correctly. A low AC supply voltage could also be the cause, so check the AC supply voltage. If you are using a common motor operating at low speed with a large load for a long time, select a special motor for such operating condition. Also, verify the motor overload protection factor setting and correct it if it is incorrect. Finally, check the load in case the motor is blocked or the load changed suddenly.

What to do if Emerson EV1000-4T0022G shows over-current in constant speed operation?
    • R
      richard88Aug 25, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter shows an over-current in constant speed operation, it could be due to a sudden change of load, so reduce the change of the load. Another cause may be a too short Acc/Dec time, in which case you should prolong Acc/Dec time. You should also check the load for any abnormalities. Additionally, check the AC supply voltage if it is low. Finally, the drive’s power may be too low, so select a drive with larger capacity.

What to do if my Emerson EV1000-4T0022G has over voltage in constant-speed operating process?
    • L
      lisabartonAug 26, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter reports over voltage during constant-speed operation, check the AC supply voltage for any abnormalities. Also, check if the Acc/Dec time is too short and prolong the Acc/Dec time if needed. If there is an abnormal change of input voltage, install an input reactor. If the load inertia is too high, use a suitable dynamic braking device.

What to do if Emerson EV1000-4T0022G Inverter shows over-current in Acc process?
    • J
      Joseph MorrisAug 28, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter displays an over-current in Acc process, it could be due to a too short Acc time, so prolong the Acc time. Also, the V/F curve may not be suitable, so check and adjust V/F curve, adjust torque boost or set the motor parameters correctly to ensure the normal auto torque boost works well. If the rotating motor re-starts after the drive stops instantly, start when the motor stops. Check the drive’s input AC supply if the AC supply voltage is low. Finally, the drive power may be too small, so select a higher power drive.

Why Emerson EV1000-4T0022G Inverter shows over voltage in Dec process?
    • A
      Amber BennettAug 29, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter displays over voltage in Dec process, it might be because the Dec time is too short (with reference to generated energy), so prolong the Dec time. It could also be due to a negative-torque load or the load inertia being too high, in which case you should use a suitable dynamic braking device.

What to do if my Emerson EV1000-4T0022G shows over-current in Dec process?
    • T
      thomas47Aug 31, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter is showing an over-current in Dec process, it could be due to a too short Dec time, so prolong the Dec time. It may also be caused by a negative-torque load or the load inertia being too high, so connect a suitable braking device. Another possibility is that the drive’s power is too low, so select the drive with larger capacity.

      Hannah HuffSep 2, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter displays over voltage in Acc process, check the AC supply voltage for any abnormalities. Also, the Acc/Dec time might be too short, so prolong the Acc time. If the drive is re-started with a rotating motor, start when the motor stops.

What to do if Emerson EV1000-4T0022G Inverter displays rectifier’s heatsink overheat?
    • K
      Keith SteeleSep 4, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter displays that the rectifier’s heatsink is overheating, it could be due to ambient over-temperature, so lower the ambient temperature. It may also be caused by an obstruction of the ventilation channel, so clear the ventilation channel. If the fan is not working, replace the fan. If it is inverter fault seek service.

What to do if Emerson EV1000-4T0022G Inverter experiences emergency stop or external equipment fails?
    • A
      Ann ThompsonSep 6, 2025
If your Emerson Inverter experiences an emergency stop or external equipment fails, check the present operating mode if you pressed the STOP key when operating at non-keypad mode. If you pressed STOP when the drive is in stall status, set the operating parameters correctly. Note that the drive will report E015 fault if it is in stall status for 1 minute, so set the operating parameters correctly. If the terminal used for stopping the drive in an emergency is closed, disconnect the terminal if the external fault is cleared.
