  If your Emerson Fan wobbles excessively, start by checking if the setscrew and jam nut in the motor coupling are tightened securely. Raise the coupling cover and tighten them. Also, ensure the setscrew in the hanger ball/downrod assembly is tightened. Check that the screws securing the fan blade flanges to the motor are tight. Make sure the hanger bracket screws are tightened to the outlet box, and the outlet box is secure. If the issue persists, interchanging an adjacent blade pair might redistribute the weight and smooth the operation.
